Who we are
Please find below short introductions to our church leaders!

Revd Stephen Liley - Vicar
Stephen grew up in a Christian family, but whilst a student found his faith in a new and living way. He studied music and went on to classical singing, which he still enjoys. Stephen is married to Sue, and they have 3 sons who are all involved in churches, and are all musical! It's a noisy home! Stephen loves to cycle, cars, and helping others to come to know Jesus.

Revd Dr Min-Min Peaker - Assistant Curate

Min-Min is delighted to be training as a self-supporting (non-stipendiary) curate with Stephen. She believes God has called her to Motherhood, Music and Ministry, and coming to Clapham Parish Church is helping her to fulfil the third part. She is married to Chris (who is not a church goer - yet!) and they have school-aged children, Daniel and Natalie. Musically, she enjoys singing as a semi-professional soprano and sometimes performs around Bedfordshire.

After retiring from the Civil Service, and later from parish ministry, retirement is still a work in progress, whilst she continues adventuring with Jesus. "Relaxation is time spent on the river in our old boat, by ourselves or with friends."

Jeff Henson - Church Warden
Jeff is married to Lynda, they have lived in Clapham since 1981 and have two children and two grandchildren. Jeff retired from the construction industry in 2017 and enjoys a bit of building maintenance, bird watching and Formula 1. Jeff is also a Lay Leader of Worship and a Discipleship Enabler.
